Back to Work
Mood:  happy

Well, it is back to work.  We have just returned from a wonderful vacation in Colorado visiting both friends and family in the Denver Metro area and in Aspen.  We were able to stay with Wendy in Aspen and Pam in Louisville.  THANK YOU!!  It was very relaxing and FUN.  What do you have planned for the summer for your self care?

We went to a concert in Snowmass, along with biking and hiking in Aspen with encouragement from Wendy.  We also went to the Aspen Farmer's Market.  What a treat!!!

In the Denver Metro Area, I was able to reconnect with my friends, Mark & Carly, Doug & Margerie and another friend Doug also a party at Ginger's in Boulder.  Cindy was also able to connect with her son and I with my daughter for a few hours.  How are you connecting with your friends and family this summer?

We are back to our new home in Dubuque.  It is a beautiful historic city overlooking the Mississippi River just waiting for us to explore.  What adventure in your community are you willing to explore?

Let me know what is going on in your world and if there is any way that I can support you on your journey.

Freedom: What Does it Mean to You?
Mood:  energetic

How does Freedom show up in your life?  What does Freedom mean to you? What are you willing to risk to have Fredom?

To me, Freedom means having the choice to do what I want.  However, it also means that I must be willing to take care of the details, so I can have this choice in my life.

Having Freedom requires discipline.  I am willing to exercise and eat healthy daily so I may have Freedom in the area of Health.  I also drink water and sleep at least 8 hours every night to nourish my body.

What are you willing to do to have a Healthy Physical Body?

Let me hear from you!

Live and Love in Freedom.

Stretch, Risk or Die
Mood:  celebratory

What Risk have you taken today that is supporting you in where you want to go in your life? What area of your life are you seeking change or improvement?

First, a few definitions, so we are all on the same page.

Your comfort zone is where everything is going the way that you want it to be going, where no stress or fear is coming up in your life around a particular idea or plan.  A Stretch is when you are doing something new, but now produce some anxiety in the process.  A Risk is when you want to make a change, but anxiety is produced and fear is raising its head to push you back into your comfort zone.  And then there is the Die, where you literally feel that you are going to die if you go through with your plans.  Most of your growth will be coming in the form of a Risk.  That doesn't mean that you won't have a stretch or a die along the way, because you will, however, in Living Fearlessly, it is about taking small steps that will enable you to continue to take more small steps to reach your goal.

The risk that I am taking today is actually writing on my blog.  It is indeed a risk, because I don't know if anyone will be reading it, does it make sense to the reader and on and on.  Well, I sat down and started writing anyway and we will see what happens.

What Risk have you taken today to support your path in life?

'Til next time,

Live and Love Fearlessly!

Martin

Marketing myself as a Business and Life Coach

I have started a new endeavor of marketing myself more intently to allow more people to know who I am.  What would you like to know about me?  I am looking for a few people this year so I can coach them in the out of doors in beautiful Colorado.  Are you going to be one?

I look forward to hearing from all of you.

Good Bye Morgen

My daughter Morgen left today on her new journey in life.  She joined the Peace Corp and will be in the Dominican Republic for the next two years.  It is hard to believe that when she comes back, there will be a new president, a new congress and I will be 2 years older.

Children grow up soooooo fast!!!

Cindy is coming back tomorrow from her trip to Iowa to visit her family too.  I am looking forward to seeing her tomorrow.

So what brought you to my website and to my blog.  I am dying to know.

Live and Love Fearlessly on your journey of living your dreams.
